lyrics
I fell in love with a sort of misery. I see how far down, how far will drown me? This sort of love it sets to kill me. While in doubt I set fire to me instead. She's calling your name, blames you for everything. It's almost a game that tries to play me. With all the downs which one will drown me? This sort of love with this misery. You're so lost against your horror day, today. This ends here the romance that you blame for pain. With all this love for what evades me. Still I hold what out weighs me. A sound in time for someone to save me. While in doubt I set fire to me instead.
Neil plays in this band with Gub (Red Villain, Even In Blackouts, Ghost Forest), Kevin (Haymarket Riot, Traluma) and Ryan Rapsys (Euphone, Heroic Doses). Rollo Tomasi
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
a beast of a release in unassuming packaging. First knew of this band while reading the biography of the band Craw, and the inspiration and influence are visible. The expansive volume and garage tone of their live sound is incredible, and be not fooled by the 18 tracks on display - this release is, to my count, 66 tracks, including live renditions. a steal of an album cadejo
Terrific, marauding post-punk that will thrill fans of Idles with its pairing of cutting riffs and wry spoken/sung lyrics. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 26, 2022
